(MASS APPEAL) – On this month’s Community Corner with PeoplesBank we’re highlighting Junior Achievement of Western Massachusetts. Joining me now is Matt Bannister, Senior Vice President of Marketing and Corporate Responsibility with PeoplesBank and Amie Miarecki, the new Executive Director of Junior Achievement.
For more than 100 years, Junior Achievement of Western Massachusetts has provided economic education and financial literacy programs to the youth of Western Massachusetts and Vermont. JA of Western Massachusetts impacts thousands of young people each year, opening their minds to their potential and preparing them for life after graduation.
Junior Achievement Celebrity Bartender Event
JA’s Celebrity Bartender event is a fundraiser where well-known people in the community get behind the bar to serve drinks to raise funds for JAWM programs, empowering youth to own their economic success. Donations come through your tips to the bartenders, so tip well—100% of bar and online tips benefit JA programs for the youth of Western Massachusetts.
Their celebrity bartemder event will be held Wednesday, March 6th from 5:00pm – 8:30pm at Loophole Brewing, 51-59 Taylor Street in Springfield.
